The Canteen provides a range of healthy food and drink products for students, and is open before school and during morning tea and lunch breaks. Products are compliant with the new Qld Govt's "Health Choices Food and Drink Strategy" which comes into effect on January 1st 2007. Details can be found at http://www.education.qld.gov.au/schools/healthy The Canteen is desperate for parents to help during serving times. If you could possibly help us out please contact the Convenor, Paula Burke, on 33473527 as soon as possible. We are also looking for a couple of local parents who might be prepared to be on standby in the event that one of the staff is sick, or we need additional staffing. We would prefer expressions of interest from people who have completed Food Safety Level one - Hospitality (subject code THHGHS01B), but would be happy to hear from any interested parent who might have suitable skills and experience.
